Nimeh Shaaban Specialty and Subspecialty Hospital began in 2001 with the opening of a 24-hour clinic. The first phase of the Nimeh Shaaban Day Clinic opened in 2002 and the second phase in 2003. In 2020, after the day clinic and the surgical centre merged, a hospital licence was requested, and the hospital officially began operating in August 2021. Nimeh Shaaban Hospital is ready to serve the people of the province.
Scope of services
The hospital's services include surgery in all specialties (except cardiac surgery), paediatrics and neonatology, obstetrics and gynaecology (LDR rooms) and internal medicine.
The Nimeh Shaaban complex stands on a 5,000-square-metre site. It includes a 24-hour emergency department, a polyclinic, paediatrics and neonatal care, obstetrics and gynaecology (LDR rooms), internal medicine, general surgery (all specialties except cardiac), ICU, CCU and a VIP inpatient ward, as well as paraclinical units: pharmacy, pathobiology laboratory and medical imaging (X-ray, ultrasound and CT scan).
Beds and insurance
The hospital has 100 licensed beds, 88 of which are currently active.
The hospital accepts Iran Health Insurance (Salamat), Social Security, Medical Services, Armed Forces insurance, banks' insurance plans and almost all supplementary insurers. See the full list of contracted insurers.
