- At 8 am on the previous day, pass urine and discard it; from then on, collect all your urine over 24 hours and pour it into the 24-hour urine container.
- The next day, also at 8 am, put the last urine sample into the container and hand it in to the laboratory.
- Each time you pour urine into the container, shake it gently so that it mixes with the preservative.
